BlizzCon ticket lottery opt-in now available
If you're interested in trying for one of the 3,000 BlizzCon tickets being sold by lottery, and you had a Blizzard Account before the evening of August 12th, head over to the Blizzard Store now, as Opt-ins are open.
You should able to put yourself in to the drawing on the Account Management page. The opt-in period will last until the evening of Sunday, August 24th, and you will have an equal chance of getting a ticket no matter when you sign up.
After the Opt-in period is over, 1,500 accounts will be chosen at random for a chance to buy up to 2 tickets. Be sure your contact information is up to date so they can contact if you win. Good Luck, and we'll see you at BlizzCon!
[Thanks for the forward, Jeff!]

It was my understanding from reading posts here that the lottery was only open to people that had cart errors from the original offering. If that's the case you should clarify that in the main post. Is that not the case?

It's anyone who had a Blizzard Account before the evening of August 12th, as I said in the announcement. They don't have a way to specifically pick up people who had cart errors, so it is open to everyone who had an account at the time the cart errors were occuring.

Hmm, I just realized that the Failoc's flag says "OOPS!". Silly me.
Anyway, good luck to anyone who will be entering the lottery.

Actually its for people who got screwed out of getting tickets because of their "technical" errors. It states in the FAQ, "(3) have not previously purchased BlizzCon 2008 tickets".
