Alliance insignia inexplicably on a t-shirt

Of course, how that symbol ended up on a cruise t-shirt, Fordragon knows. If the Lordaeron insignia is a reference to any real symbol in real life, we couldn't find it. Vid says the patch wasn't added by him, and it's been on the shirt since he owned it. Interesting -- either someone at S&A is a Warcraft fan, or there's a real-world link here we're missing. That's a nice t-shirt you got there, cousin!

Very fake, and that is not even a pocket, just a piece of cloth laid/tacked on.

If you look closely, you can see a tattered border around the emblem. This doesn't appear anywhere else on the shirt, and even has a lighter tone than the rest of the shirt.
The other graphics on the shirt look to be original silk screen or some other printing technique.
It's either fake, staged or inexplicable. A little photoshop would have actually helped this look more realistic.

Would be simple enough just to check the stitching on the patch. It's not hard to tell home made from machine produced. On the off chance that he did stitch it on well enough to make it seem mass produced, well then think he deserves some credit for the effort anyways.

Nono, Bumble, I believe Verodio was stating this as a question of chronology. He would rather be physically and sexually assaulted *before* putting on his Alliance t-shirt, to spite his assailants. That's a sign of real dedication right there!

I could see a stylised 'L' with a sword through it, sure. Randomly put on with a tattered patch around it and the rest of the emblem? Please...
To be fair, though, why anyone would WANT to fake being in the Alliance is quite far beyond any rational explanation.

Do you know what's less interesting than an entry about an old alliance symbol on a t-shirt? The people barking "FAKE! PHOTOSHOP!" as a kneejerk reaction.
What exactly do you think goes through people's brains?
"Hmm. I want 2.3 minutes of FAME on a very specialized blog site. What could I possibly do to earn that... OMG I KNOW! I'll PHOTOSHOP the Lordaeron emblem onto a photo of some random t-shirt in my closet. I'll be FAMOUS! People will remember my name, and tell my story to their grandkids!"
Do you know what's more likely? Some dude likes Warcraft and threw it into a t-shirt design knowing that the T-shirt would never be so popular as to draw attention and get him fired.
I put my goddamn face into the reflection map of an entire network's branding elements. Nobody even noticed until they printed full page ads in the newspaper. This kind of thing happens all the time. It's what people do.

PS: If this were another "Jesus on Toast", that'd be a cause worth spending the time and effort to fake. It's not. It's Lordaeron on a T-shirt. Heck, if the guy HAD slapped the logo on their himself, I'm sure he'd be telling us that and selling us t-shirts, not claiming it was always there.
