To me, a game should never need to have a recruitment functionality. It's just another reason why arenas suck.

The game is very social driven,I see the way it is too stiff but even for the smallest grp effort situation you need...a group.
And recruitment options are great.

Even for the old pvp system you still joined groups or guilds for it,the organized premades.

IMo arena is pure fail but these is not the reason.
If anything, it just makes it less horrible overall.
