Unfortunately there is a lot of ignorance over the health of a tank. Within reason, I am not really concerned about the health of the tank (though I do usually aim for around 11K as a minimum for a heroic). As a healer my primary concern is that the tank has enough defence to be crit immune. I have occasionally been in heroic groups where people have invited an 'imba tank' (they knew he must be imba because he had over 15K health). Having massive amounts of stamina means nothing if you haven't got enough defence to be uncrittable. I guess it's a matter of personal preference, but I would far rather run a heroic with a 11K pally tank (with at least 200-250 spell damage for threat) than a 15-20K warrior or bear tank.
