Is this job still available? After this column, I can't see how this writer will have any credibility in the rogue community ever again. Not to mention he'll get flamed and laughed at for the rest of his life. Seriously, any rogue that "use[s] Feint every time it's available on boss fights" is a pure and utter fail. There is no purpose for feint what-so-ever for a rogue geared with T4 or better gear. 1 Sinister Strike negates any effect unimproved feint might actually give. As far as the actual coverage of how these glyphs might fit into a rogue's life, there lacks decent coverage on how they will effect the PvP side of the game. Sure you mention EA and Sprint as PvP-oriented, but this clearly shows your lack of experience playing the rogue class in any upper level content. EA, as pointed out in previous posts, is essential to Druid tanking fights where warriors are not present to sunder. Especially with T6 content when armor pen is abundant in gear for not just rogues, but for melee and hunters as well. And sure, the sprint glyph might be useful in a pvp setting... if the combat tree wasn't a complete and utter fail for PvP and if Shadow Step didn't exist. "A possibility of 33 seconds of 30% increased attack speed is a fine improvement, but nothing as special as the Rupture and Garrote glyphs." If you honestly use 5 point SnD's you fail at DPS on a rogue. The MOST you should be using ever with a non-2 piece T4 geared rogue is 3 CPs. Not seeing the fact that this glyph allows for maximum rupture uptime is even more evidence that the author of this column has no idea how to play a rogue effectively. While yes, the shorter Garrote and longer Rupture glyphs are useful... they are not as powerful as the SnD glyph for PvE. A shorter and more bursty Garrote and longer Rupture would fall more into PvP worth than PvE, as stronger dots are always better, because those are the only finishers worth anything to a rogue anymore. "If you honestly use 5 point SnD's you fail at DPS on a rogue."That's not exactly true. The difference between running 3s or 5s is very small, order of 5-10 dps. But as you gain more gear, like BT/Sunwell/Glaives, the 5s starts being clearly ahead due to Sinister Strike scaling up past Rupture in energy efficiency. And with some energy pooling with the exalted BT trinket, the 5s can guarentee a proc to pump that extra crit right into SS.
