As I understand it, the Draenei have a Romanian accent because they are Gypsies, and Gypsies are believed to be Romanian... They are actually Romani, a people who came originally from Egypt, and are now spread out over much of the planet. There are about half a million Roma living in Romania though, but there are more than a million in the USA. Either way, people get that mixed up when they think of Gypsies being Romanian. They always seem to get that accent though.

Draenai though, bounced around from planet to planet, and have a bit of a Gypsie feel to them. I'm just guessing that the devs and Blizz tossed that persone on them for this reason.
