Breakfast Topic: What are you looking forward to in 3.0.2?
So we're expecting the new pre-Wrath content patch any week now, and with it a whole flood of new mechanics and abilities, such as raid buff stacking. It should be interesting to see how all this new stuff fits in to the current Burning Crusade end game, and how people adapt to it as they prepare to plunge into Wrath. Of course, many will probably get a head start on Inscription, while others may already have a new haircut picked out.
Myself, I'm looking forward to playing around with the new changes to my Hunter. Disengage and the new Freezing Trap mechanics are looking delicious enough to me that I may just see if I can get back into Arenas for a few weeks to check them out. I'm also pretty interested to see how the Aspect of the Viper changes feel on some big boss battles. It'll be nice to have to essentially have no mana regeneration worries ever again, assuming the current version stays as is.
What about you? Given everything we'll likely see in patch 3.0.2, what are you looking forward to doing while you wait for Wrath?

I'm looking forward to the rumored "Dickhead Filter", like the one that exists here on this very website.
Enjoy your smokey gray sheen on your post:P

For my prot warrior:
- Shockwave.
- Sword and Board
- If they do include new skills as well and not only the talents: Victory Rush.
For my BM hunter: the ultimate talent, obviously.

Ditto for my Prot Warrior, but I'm concerned about the fate of my BM Hunter - I suspect I'm going to need to respec at least 3 or 4 times to get a talent build that works.
Is my DPS going up or down? What about soloability?
It'll be an interesting few days after that patch, that's for sure.

Victory rush? That isn't new to Wrath. Level 62 warriors get that already.

After 4 yrs odd of being a lock... probably switching my main to my first toon i ever made - a rogue. While its still a beta and still a lot of changes to come...as things stand right now the class has been gutted, ra---ed, bu----fuc---ed and just about ruined by blizzard in the name of balance vs. mages. Affliction is a total dead loss, dots still don;t scale on haste and damage, shadowbolt has been nerfed into the ground, raid utility is shot to hell and is now offered on a better term by DRUIDS...demo is meh and destro while looking good on paper is the lousiest set of inter-related talents going.
So instead of qqing or wondering if ill ever get to enjoy a decently balanced class that has a good chance against a similarly geared rogue ... im just going to reroll and roll with my own rogue ... who has not been played since dec 2005.
Just in case you are wondering if i am one of those pvp geared scrubs.. i am not. I have cleared upto 8/9 BT/ 5/5 MH, obtained 2100 in 2v2, 1875 3v3, and 2032 in 5vs5. Pretty much raided right through all of bc on a semi regular basis.
thanks blizzard for ruining a perfectly good class... the warlocks will go the way the shammies did right at the start of bc.
Azri Sep 2nd 2008 8:21AM
Yeah except that now Shaman are pretty powerful and wanted in a number of high-end fights. The underdog classes at the beginning of any expansion always get their day eventually. Sitting around prophesying doom and gloom doesn't get anyone anywhere.

I feel you. Thats the same way I'm feeling too. It seems they are just over complicating the class at this point. I already have a page of macros just for spells I use on a daily basis.
macster Sep 2nd 2008 9:48AM
Yup. It'd be nice to get some clearer idea where Blizz are taking Warlocks. Everything is so half-finished, or just plain broken, at the moment.
But at least I can turn into a demon. Whoopee.
jim carey Sep 2nd 2008 8:51PM
HERE HERE!! i love locks more than anything! but im forced to play my second favorite.. paladin!... oh wait, theyre unbalanced too. QQ.. but i cant complain too much cuz blizzard DOES have the coolest game even with some-what unbalanced classes.
Azri Sep 2nd 2008 8:14AM
I am looking forward to the word "you," as well as exotic pets and Paladin system changes. (gogo AOE heals)
Dantheman Sep 2nd 2008 8:31AM
Balance druids got some love and I plan on figuring out all the bloat. AoE grinding mobs should make soloing even more of a joke. Starfall and Hurricane sans CD is going to be awesome. I don't care if there are some BS talents or that Blizzard didn't fix them entirely with the whole synergy to raids (giving other classes what we bring to the table). Finally they won't be shunned near as much.
Also I want to change my toon's haircut. :)
Dyermaker Sep 2nd 2008 10:52AM
You will want to review, Paladin AoE heal is gone. Was nice while it lasted, but like all things Paladin, destroyed by Blizzard to placate the cries of others that Paladins might be encroaching on their space.
Gansar Sep 2nd 2008 8:31AM
I want a DK.
doug Sep 2nd 2008 8:32AM
Everything having to do with both my hunter and paladin -- they got some nice lovin'
Konni Sep 2nd 2008 9:06AM
Beyond a doubt, inscription. My first 70 is an enchanter and am THRILLED that my SUBSEQUENT 70's can finally get the enchants they want without having to hunt someone down. I'm already stockpiling mats. :)

Looking forward to Prot-Paladins having a reason to choose sanctuary over kings as well as the big yay for no more seal-judge-seal-judge-seal !
Calminaion Sep 2nd 2008 8:40AM
I'm GONNA BE A FUWY WAWYUH !!! LOLZ ! TIGHTEN GWUP FTW !
Dan Sep 2nd 2008 8:41AM
I'm not sure. I recently switched computers and WoW is not installed on here. I'm not sure when I'll be installing it again. If I do I expect some nice Warlock changes.
Riwerwind Sep 2nd 2008 8:46AM
For my priest: Guardian spirit
For my hunter: Devilsaurs up in this bitch (and something that can actually hold aggro)
