I simply do not like the incentive this gives players to essentially "buy" a 60 through a second account. One of the attractions of WoW is that you earn your rank through gameplay, not by having the financial capacity to "out-subscribe" others. Why not use something that will be made somewhat less important to trade for levels? Like badges of honor? That would perhaps help keep the OL instances hopping post-expansion, in addition to giving characters with established mains a way to "powerlevel" their alts...As far as new players go, I feel like they already have gotten a big boost with the XP bump. A friend I recently brought to the game is at level 55 already on just a month or so of play. Are we really so concerned if a player needs to spend a month or two playing up a 1-60, at least one time on his account?
