I'd also like to add that many of the examples of a negative impact seem to be either based on hyperbole and assumption, or based entirely on the players' methods of teaching and learning not the system itself.If there's a 50 running with 29 gear, what the heck is the veteran friend doing? If the veteran player couldn't teach the newbie how to maintain proper gear what difference does the x3 exp make? Besides, you really think they aren't giving these friends they recruit gold and other items? Like just about everyone on Earth who recruit friends. You're assuming the vet isn't teaching the new player and reducing the whole experience to the minimal scenario possible, to make your case stronger.Most of the these examples really don't implicate the system but, more so the individuals' use of it.
