Wow. That Troxed guy - I'd have stayed in that guild about 2 minutes, tops.

It amazes me that people like that are considered "leaders."
My leadership style? If I tell you something in public, I'm polite. If I tell you something in private, I'm direct. If I feel like swearing, you've already been gkicked, hopefully by one of my excellent officers, who are officers because they can read my mind.

Yeah, I had to back away after the third sample. What an ass. Someone goes off like that in a guild raid, either they go or I go. If they're the lead, I go. Pretty much instantly.

I don't usually raid much, but in my few experiences in kara, zul aman, and gruuls, a more direct raid leader is best.
If you say something too politely (i.e. indirectly) the noob who is screwing the whole thing up might not get the message and just do the same exact shit again and again leading to more overall frusteration and people leaving.
But, If you're going to be mean, you've gotta be right. Simon Cowell, Chef Ramsey, and House (you have to know at least one of those guys from tv) all get away with being total jackasses. How? They get results and are usually right in the end.

I am going to have to say that House is a fictional character so it doesn't matter how he is written, of course he is going to be right in the end, lol.
