This is the person who taught you about your class/spec and are usually the guild's class leader. Their experiance is deep and varied, and it pays to listen closely to their advice. This person believed that you could tank Moroes, though it was only your 2nd time in Kara. They were patient and supportive.
And one day, when your mentor has moved on to greener pastures and you take on their mantle of class leadership, remember to take on that bright-eyed new guildie and teach them all you know as your mentor did.
