After waiting three months, Cerenvy of EU Darkspear finally recieved his replica Frostmourne in the mail. He got together with a couple guildmates, and rocked out with "duelling Frostmournes." Pictures included, of course.
According to Cerenvy, the replicas are much heavier than you might imagine. They had to flex a bit to hold the treasured swords aloft. Angrist and Nymeria of EU Darkspear also appear in the pictures with their own replicas, and the chaps spent a little while whirling the legendary weapons around. I hadn't been really interested in the swords. Now that I can get a better look at them, thought, I might find out about getting one to hang on my own wall. While the price seem a little steep, it definitely looks like they had a good time.

it is amazing to see how people can be so rude in there comments about people showing off some of what they consider fun. It seems most of the people posting comments on this article would like to make rude comments about these people who happen to be playing around with a couple replica swords.. wich happen to be prety decent quality from what I can tell. The same people who are making these comments I bet look at the costumes at blizzcon and say wow those are neat. So its cool to dress up like a murloc in front of thousands of people but if you have fun with a replica sword of high quality your nothing but a geek... wtf Like the post from the guy who says hes raided everything and now will quit wow because of this . lol give me a break. I play wow for recreational video game fun and it takes a lot of hours spent raiding so I dont know whats worse playing with swords in real life or spending your whole social life staring at a fictional world getting rich with fictional money and thinking your beter than them. Like what happens when a geek calls a geek a geek.

whats also highly amusing about the ignorance of many of these comments is that if you click on there names you can see a history off all there comments on wow insider. most rude comments are from people who just seem to make rude comments about everyone and every subject that is posted on this site. they are from people that are actualy in reality prety jealous or troubled and hate something about there lives and lash out wherever they can. Yet these people continue to come back to wow insider day in day out, to read and post comments lol. truly a funny funny thing.

Actually I know these guys and they're some of the nicest people in the game. Let's face it, anyone who plays this game is a dork, and the only people who go off on someone for having a laugh are the ones who are jealous they can't IRL duel-weild frostmournes and then end up on the net with pics. Just don't understand why anyone would give out to anyone else for enjoying a game they love to play. Knobs.

These guys are so sad yet the first thing 50% of the posters who arnt somehow affiliated with them, come on to this site and sbecause "Im so cool lets slag someone off who does smts I dont like because I have a life",

Mr I have a good job, nice car, wife etc. who actually gives a shit? trying to build a big epeen with your RL acomplishments makes you some of lowest of internet life, and as for youre gonna quit cos sum1 does something you dont like is pathetic, I play football just because I dont like diving and cheating in the game wont make me quit, so your point really is rather weak.
Whoever said people are gonna ask me if I do this shit cos they know I play WoW, these people obiviously dont play WoW so why the hell would they be reading a WoW internet article?
And people go on about posing with the swords I mean wtf? If you got something you considered cool like a new car, went abroad to a famous landmark would you not pose with it? seriously how thick are some of you guys.
Besides I bet everyones got something collectable and I bet 9/10 of you keep it on a shelf never to be seen again, atleast these guys are outside enjoying it and getting some use out of it.
I know some of my grammar is rather crap but who cares this the internet not a piece of bloody Shakespeare!

Well, come on guys, they're just trying to have some fun and it looks pretty cool to me.
Honestly, I don't even play World of Warcraft. I was just searching Frostmourne, because I remembered the main character from Warcraft III and he kept saying "Frostmourne Hungers" which got stuck in my head.
Though after seeing the Frostmourne Replica, it's actually pretty cool. I don't get why would anyone buy such an Expensive (like almost $400 each) and High-Quality sword and NOT FREAKING play with it!
It's almost like getting a new PSP, except more expensive, would you play with it? (Rhetorical question)

if i had 2 frostmourne swords the first thing i would do is go in the garden and swing them around like a nutcase. im so jealous. i really want one but cant find the excuse to spend all that on what would effectively be the coolest toy i ever had. u guys who r like "that would make me cringe" need 2 chillaxe n have some fun. and who r u lot calling geeky? ur commenting on a post about a replica sword. these guys in the pics r having a laugh, u guys r sad enough to be commenting on them!
