The drop rate on Mongoose is lies. LIES. I've been on close to a hundred Kara runs, and it's dropped ONE FREAKING TIME. I was fortunate enough to win it, but I'm one of the few in our alliance that has it.

Too right, ive been farming kara for over a year, just for this and the other chants thats drop. I now have two sets of full badge gear - every badge piece in the game for my class, and sell gems/nether vortex's. Only 2 people in my guild have seen it EVER drop. Chance rate must be much less that 3% imo. Nearer 0.3% or 0.03% tbh.

Oh and try using the ackis recipe list add on - it tells you what chants you dont have, where they drop, who they drop off (or are trained/sold by). Very easy, very good addon.
