Having been a GM in other games I have to say that I know how much of a total pain in the backside it is, and so I would never seek to be a GM again. That said, I'm not sure about this issue. I personally would not be happy to see my hard earned shinies disappear into some black hole, especially not when I have to fork out for all my raid consumables and repairs as well. In a lot of respects, if people seek the position of GM they should do so through altruistic intent and not because it is going to net them a fat wedge of cash.
