WoW Moviewatch: Tanked a Boss
This time around, Mirabell and Barenger have parodied the infectious Katy Perry song, I Kissed a Girl. Their take, Tanked a Boss, isn't the best machinima by any means. The aspect ratio is way off and it sometimes jumps around. However, the song itself is worth it, and they get bonus points for the creative ways they give fellow guildmates shoutouts throughout the video!
[Thanks, Infamy, Barenger, Brendan, and Gump for your various submissions!]

If I didn't hate the original song with a fiery passion, I'd probably would have like this video more. At least the parody is somewhat creative.

Funny Video, If people were curoius this was Leo the Blind being Warlock tanked.
Thanks for wowinsider for hosting this, hope the public enjoys.

I hate the original with a passion too (hearing it at least 3 times in a single day at work does weird things to the mind >

Pretty funny! =)

ROFL! That was awesome. From a mage who regularly tanks Krosh Firehand, a great big /salute. ;)

If a couple of women sang that song, I'd be sold.

So, after watching this video, the singing is very sub par, and the machinima was pretty bad, but the concept and writing were great. I would overall say this was about average, but a very good effort.
Also, just curious, what matters to the other people watching this? Is it just the writing that does it for you, machinima quality, or the singing talent? Maybe a little bit of all three? I would like to see this done as a poll, because I have a few videos that never went into full production because of my less than great singing voice. i.e. I sing about as well as the video in this Moviewatch.

Dunno if this comment helps then, but I found the content quite amusing - however, the singing was so painfully bad, I couldn't stand it for too long.

This video wins.
Can't say I know how the mages and locks feel tanking, I'm a warrior... but prolly similar to the first time I went to Kara with a shield on after being the team's melee DPS for so long... man, that was fun ;)

Okay, that video put a really silly grin on my face the entire way through.
I didn't have a problem with the singing at all, infact, I enjoyed it.
Mirabell Sep 5th 2008 4:02PM
Mage tanking is a blast, but I get really nervous each time I do it.
And I'll be the first to admit, I'm not a good singer, but we had alot of fun making it. thanks for the post.
