I think the issue is that people rolled races they wouldn't ordinarily roll in order to take advantage of perceived "broken" racial abilities. I have tried to make Forsaken characters multiple times for their supposed advantage in PVP. I can't get over their distasteful lore, overtly evil questlines and overall ugliness though so I never make it much past the mid-30s. I know several people who started Tauren warriors specifically because of the health boost. They are in the same boat with Taurens that I am with the Forsaken, they just don't like the look and feel of the character, but they grin and bear it for the 10.5 health/stam. It comes down to the Leatherworking Drum/Enchanting Ring Enchant issue. Blizz is trying to get rid of the blatant min/max issue apparent in racial choices.Sidebar: Anybody else think that enchanting rings should add an enchanting requirement to them like socketing gloves adds a Blacksmithing one? Seems like that would stop the extreme edge-case of a person who trained up enchanting from scratch every time they replaced their endgame rings.
