Way back in the day, there was a dearth of priests. No one wanted to play one, because no one wanted to heal, and priests weren't really good at the whole DPS thing. So Blizzard took step after step to make them more appealing to the masses, up to and including giving each race their own unique racial spells for their priesties. Personally I think its a great idea, but not just for one class. They really need to expand on this idea, and give each race's class several of their own unique abilities.
