Tipster Wietkop informed us that the pet supplies NPC in Dalaran,
Breanni, was selling something new in the
Wrath Beta. So I headed on over to the pet store in Dalaran and found a lot of players fiddling around with the new toy, a
Pet Grooming Kit that you can use on your pet to -- make it shine, just like it says on the tooltip. The Pet Grooming Kit is a single use BoP item that allows players to buff their non-combat pets with sparkles and a nice, clean glow.
Using it has a splashing sound and makes an animation similar to water elementals getting squished. It's pretty cool, and it's simple little touches like these that make the game fun. Breanni also sells
Fetch Balls and a Rope Pet Leash, although that one didn't exactly go over well with my
Mini-Tyrael. Hopefully before the Beta is over, we'll see
Breanni sell a few more items that spice up our favorite little companions.
Papa Hummel's Old-Fashioned Pet Biscuits, anyone?

I look forward to when these items work on Hunter/Warlock Pets too. I'd love to give my combat pet a shiny cloak or a studded collar.

Would love to see pets actually gain useful abilities, such as a rare "Messenger Bag" that allows you to retrieve a newly arrived in-game mail anywhere in the world. Give it a long cooldown and we're talking a nice little extra utility.

What I would love to see is one class or race specific type pet that could be quested for.
Here are some examples by class :
Druid : Sappling or other plant type
Hunter : Bloodhound or any other dog (for tracking purposes)
Mage : Beholder
Paladin : Mini white horsey
Priest : White owl
Rogue : Raccoon, weasel, monkey
Shaman : Spirit creature (could have various skins)
Warlock : Gremlin, slime/ooze
Warrior : Baby rhino
Or it could be done by race, but I think you get the idea.

I don't want a mini horsey. Eww.

I always thought that an automatic version (or unlimited one) of the pet biscuits would be an appropriate reward for those of us who obsessively collect the dang fashion pets.

Okay, does this mean that I can't put a leash on my helper gnome?
