Breakfast Topic: You and your quests

I actually really enjoy this question, because it's one of those things that you can let your mind soar with if you're a roleplayer. My main (and my guild) are very anti-Scourge and pro-reclaiming (and colonizing) Northrend, so Wrath is a fun time, and perfect for envisioning my guild in that sort of position. My character would probably do something dungeon-related, maybe in Icecrown, where the Scourge population is thickest. I could definitely see an escort-style quest, where my usual 5-man group in NPC form fought alongside a 5-man group of players in a Zul'farrak style encounter, fighting off waves of undead. After that encounter, those NPCs would 'hold off' more Scourge while the main party forges ahead to take out the boss and save the day.
My guild overall would be a faction tucked away in Icecrown somewhere, working a wedge into the Scourge forces so the Horde and Alliance can get a foothold. The daily quests would involve three things: Siege weapons, explosions, and lots of fire.
My friend and I would both love to see an old guildmate of ours that passed away get his moment in the spotlight, implemented as an NPC in the Dragonblight that hands out parachutes at the top of Wyrmrest Keep. He was a big fan of Dragon lore, and had a tendency to fall off of things in-game. It would mean a lot to us, and be really fun, too.
How about you guys? What would you do? Does your guild have a story that you would love to see implemented for all to see? Heck, even you guys with PvP-centric guilds can get in on this. Can you say 'mercenaries'?

My guildmate Kelam (A mage) Would start you on an escort quest, then run into a huge group of mobs and get you killed =)

My Guild would be a faction involved heavily with Lake Wintergrasp, daily quests would involve defending the area and defeating opposing faction members.
The ones not involved with LW would be off enlisting in the alliance army in battlegrounds or defending aspiring adventurers in their first steps through the world.

New daily quest: Bring me a wench.
Whiplashmtb Sep 9th 2008 8:28AM
I would have an awesome quest of awesomeness that would start with you bringing me a thousand gold and I would allow you to go by some useless title.
Wait... that's already in game..

I'm not sure what my quest would be, but I'd make sure my faction had the highest +STA to gloves enchant and then make it horribly tedious. Kill 50 critters with a fishing pole, maybe? Collect critter poop?
I'm not sure, but I guarantee my Timbermaw heroes would be impressed.

Quest 1: Sift through Tuskarr poop for 8 Digested Seal Remains.
Quest 2: Collect 20 Storm Giant dung heaps.
Quest 3: Go to lake Wintergrasp and throw Storm Giant feces at 20 players from your opposing faction.
Quest 4: Enter Icecrown Citadel and steal the Lich Kings crystal poop fragments from his "frozen throne".

Quest 1: Estra'gorn Longthwaite asks "Goddo is coming?" and gives you the quest "Waiting for Goddo" which has quest text that mentions another nearby NPC Vladimir De'Lay who you notice has a completed quest icon above his head.
Quest 2: Vladimir informs you that he thinks Goddo may be coming but to check with his friend Estra'gorn about Goddo's whereabouts, giving you the quest "Still Waiting for Goddo"
Quest 3: Estra'gorn asks you if you have heard if Goddo is coming? He mentions that Vladimir may know.
rinse, repeat. The first two quests give xp but the subsequent ones do not.
Goddo is a wisp only visible while players are ghosts and patrols around the zone where both Estra'gorn and Vladimir are situated. Goddo offers two quests to talk to both Estra'gorn and Vladimir where you inform them that Goddo will in fact not be coming to meet them any time soon.

Brilliant, but perhaps may fly over the head of many. This is the type of satire WoW can use

Hee! Judging from the number of replies, perhaps more folks are getting this than one might have initially thought. :)

Best post ever... Really.
Though I'd like where you die, and are forced to sit in the WSG staging area for the rest of your session, with a bunch of other people.
Kai Sep 9th 2008 6:33PM
100% win. You are my hero
Anaughtybear Sep 9th 2008 8:56AM
My NPC would only be on after midnight, and would have a function that checked IDs, so nobody under 18 would be able to talk to me. Those that are allowed to take my quests have to get signatures for petitions to boot belfs from the Horde and delete all gnome death knights. The daily quest would be to ride around drunk and gank 10 lowbie Alliance.
Tribble Sep 9th 2008 8:57AM
It's really simple.
My guild, Gnomicide, would offer quests such as:
"Kick the anklebiters"
* Sever the 2" limbs from a gnome corpse and play a game of kickball.
"How long are their limbs?"
* Collect gnome limbs from their dead, festering corpses.
"Test Apothecary Zinge's Concoction... Again"
* See how gnomes like it
"Nets for the Ground crawlers"
*Tailors can learn how to make special, small nets to slow gnomes down.
"More Jin'Zils Forest Magic"
* This chain sends you off to stonetalon to convince Jin'Zil to make you more "JuJu juice" which you can then plant in the water supplies of major alliance cities... to kill gnomes.
"Gnomicide"
* This flagship quest chain awards the learning of a new spell, an instant cast, free mana cost DOT that deals 750 damage to a gnome per 3 seconds for 15 seconds. 30s cooldown scales with spellpower or AP.
