"era of the Mage who isn't as good as other DPS classes and yet dies faster than any of them." welcome to the era where mages never shut up, they cry for everything1. they cry about damage in raids, and how warlocks dps more then they do. yet if a mage would do more dps then a lock, why take a lock instead of a mage? and dont tell me "banish" or "sstnes" cause mages are simply more of use2. they cry in pvp about warlocks YET a good mage still has some chance to defeat a lock while a lock has about 1% chance of defeating a good rogueLocks cant kite warriors and rogues the way mages can, locks cant do anything when a rogue pops closi hate mages

Aww, cry a little more about not being able to kite rogues. I mean, against every other frickin class in the game the free mount, mana pot, self res, instant fear, life steal (x3), drain mana, silence, debuff remover, buff dispeller, more health than most melee classes and the possibility of a shield, stun, secondary CC, fire immunity and unremovable dots must suck. Oh, and if you lost to a mage, then you were either horribly outgeared or you suck."a good mage still has some chance to defeat a lock". Some chance is too much for you, eh? Go cry somewhere else. No matter how much we whine, at least we don't stage public protests at the possibility of a PTR nerf.Anyway, it's nice to know that warlocks are now so insecure around mages that they feel the need to come and spew ignorance on our columns. Bring on the mage!

Could it be that Mages want to do more damage because they have little to no survivability in live? I mean, after all, we hear about Blizzard wanting to make all the classes equally appealing to a raid based on how much damage they do, but no mention of making all classes equally able to live through said raid. Yet people are dismissive of mages who think they should do more damage because they get short changed in almost ever other category.

so you listed warlock spells and abilities and told me to go cry somewhere else.congratulations you win the prize!

So you want rock to beat paper right?

I have a mage and a lock (and others....).I have to say, mages need the changes.Personally, I like them leveling the playing field a bit, now players can be more selected on how good a PLAYER they are, rather than just how much MORE dps they do.

I raid T5/T6 as a mage now and what upsets me about the mage/lock thing is the AoE cap discrepency. Mages cap out at 10k. Locks cap at 13.5k. Fair? Hardly. AoE cap should be the same for all classes. Then I won't have to work so hard to keep up with the damn locks.

Ut oh...Can you say, Go play Conan? ( That buggy trash )...Um once again why do people get forums, blogs and the actual game confused? Children should stop playing Net Warz and find something else to do then waste time posting irrelevant statements. Sir, i have yet to be in a group or raid in game, and here anyone complain ("cry") about being weak underpowered...Have you?
