When will Blizzard allow us to dye our crafted items, like you can do in Asheron's Call. I am tired of looking like a clown with all the mismatched BC gear, plus I may not like the color of the new items in WOTLK, which I hear are more closely color related.

Two main reasons, the first being the models in WoW are too complex to easily allow recolours dynamically, and two, that way they have to spend a lot more dev time on creating new armour, something that sounds a good idea in theory, but dramatically lengthens the time it takes for patches/expansions to come out, something noone likes or wants.
