As an avid extreme bubbler I can say you're behind the times. It's been a niche sport among the paladin and blinking mage community alike! Nothing beats the rush of rising to the highest point above Shattrath before dismounting and falling into the middle of A'dal's room through the tiny hole in the roof!

Fury Warriors are now included. You can fall from any height and just Heroic Leap at the very end to survive.

i took a dive over the cliff at stormwind harbor (too lazy to use the stairs) and landed in cat form, taking like 50% dmg. i got an achievement for falling > 65 yards and living.

Jump on the column of light on shat.... fly to the top and let yourself fall and try to fall in the middle of the hole where a'dal (i think it is its name) is.... looool that is a high jump and achievement lol

I forgot to add... Jumping from the highest place without dying and without bubling.... so far the highest i have done... is close to Maraudon in azeroth a huge mountain there jumping with my swift saber...
i have 10154 HP .... got a damage for 10100 loool... thankfully... i had ppl there otherwise i would be dead to the centaurs there XD

Bah. I jumped off the world tree and survived. Though let me tell yah, it's a real pain in the butt to realize that, had you just landed on a root or branch, you won't have to swim all the way around the zone to get back out again...

google-maps is 2d and you can not change the perspective from satellite view. this would be more like google earth which you can move pan and tilt freely in a 3d enviroment. and with 3d buildings turned on.

Thanks to a lovely bug where you're knocked off your flying mount every now and then, I've achieved the >65 yard fall on both of my beta premades quite without trying.

There are two different achievements for that type of jump...
One is while sober and the other while intoxicated. I've enjoyed making the jump from various places in Northrend...

I've been a base jumping Gnome Engineer since I crafted a Parachute Cloak. Only thing that will ruin my day is a flicker of lag at that oh-so finite moment when I 'pull the cord'.
Base jumping has been around awhile I think, through various class abilities.
