Because right now there are almost no holy pallies on the beta that stay specced for Beacon. They may try a few runs but like Zach, get depressed and go back to ret and don't look back until the next pass.

Meanwhile every single holy priest would give their right arm for something like beacon (or in fact it's mechanical predecessor mark of divinity which was listed by many sources as being for holy priests). Never mind the fact many holy priests feel like the downranking change has taken some of the fun away from the game.

Are any healing specs happy? Aside from pallies and priests mentioned above I know a lot of shaman that are disappointed in their lack of interactivity. What about Druids?

As a druid, I am so stoked. Outside of the obvious actual rez, I get my own flash of light, and another hot for the group that doesnt scream I'm desperate like tranquility does.

The GCD reduction of lifebloom, omen of clarity proccing on spells, the replinishment of mana/rage/enery/runic on rejuv, and the ability to use HT with nature's swiftness and not pop outta tree is all AWESOME!

The only thing that I think could be a complaint (but I wont actually complain about) is that blizzard said that soloing should be easier for all specs. I still dont see that as a viable option for restos, even with the 13 or so required talent points that we will have to put into balance. If we dont get the talked about 2nd spec, im sure Ill have some DS/NS build until 80 just to address the soloing, hardly something to really fuss about.

After spending a few days working with BOL Ive found it to be very underwhelming. Unless you cast it on your main heal target and just double up the healing. We all seem to think this isnt intended and will be fixed soon. As for Priests watering at the mouth for BOL? The Pallys will trade you BOL for Binding Heal and Renew, deal?

Dan you have no idea how many holy pallies were asking for our 51 point talent to be swapped with yours. There were multiple threads about it. I'd take Guardian Spirit over Beacon any day of the week.

I am actually pretty happy with my shaman, although I wish they had done more with healing wave and lesser healing wave crits and synergy with chain heal that they ended up backing away from. I still get some really nice stuff like Tidal Waves and Spirit Link and Ancestral Awakening (they all still need polish and bugs worked out but they are already fun, tuning them can only make it better). The only thing missing is some kind of top off heal which I lost with downranking.

The downranking nerf really hurt the interactivity of the holy pally too. I think that's why druids are having so much fun, they had a lot of heals already without needing to downrank a lot. I know I had 3 ranks of CH, and 4 of Healing Wave on my shaman (not to mention downranked earth shock). The paladin had nearly a whole healing kit just from downranking.

I am really hoping they take the feedback from the beta holy thread to heart and fix our barren/muddy/rng nightmare talents and give us something to do that won't run us out of mana faster than the roadrunner.

Khan, I'm not a priest. My main's a prot warrior so I follow healing threads from that perspective. I'm not speaking from direct worries or wants. It was more an observation from the outside looking in.

Frankly, I'm worried that blizz has spent all this time and energy into fixing the tanking classes that we won't have a tank drought this time out but a massive healer drought... whichs means all these tanks won't themselves be all that viable.
