WoW Insider Show Episode 55: The PvE to PvP transfer
The latest episode of the WoW Insider Show is now up for your listening enjoyment over on WoW Radio. Unfortunately, Totalbiscuit (who runs things over there) tells us that they're having more issues with a Google false positive of malware, so this week will be the perfect week to jump on into iTunes and both subscribe to and review our show from there if you haven't yet. Right there in your music player, you can find all of our shows so far, and you can subscribe to get any new ones we do for free right on your new iPod touch (or whatever ya got). Topics on last week's show include:- The usual email answering: we answered questions about why there are no Auction Houses in Shattrath or Dalaran, what to do when your guild won't let you roll on damage gear when they ask you to heal, and why getting Champion tabards at Exalted would be a horrible idea.
- We talked about PvE to PvP transfers and why they might be a problem, but probably won't be.
- Racial abilites (and the suggestion to free them up a bit) came up in conversation
- We hit on Mages and why they're thrilled with Mirror Image (stay tuned for more Mage talk next week).
- And finally we asked around for AH tips, so if you want to make more money on the AH, definitely listen in.

Why does my firefox think your wow radio link is a "Reported Attack Site!"?
I have used that link in the past, and now Im getting:
http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?client=Firefox&hl=en-US&site=http://www.wcradio.com/

As I said in the post, WoW Radio is dealing with Google over a false positive for malware. There is nothing wrong with WoW Radio's site, but if you want to avoid it until they get everything figured out, you can always hear the show in iTunes.

What Mike said. We're a little pissed off to say the least. What annoys me is if that if you read the diagnostic report, it clearly says there is not malware on the site, but then the initial warning says 'this site may have malware!'. Make your mind up Google. And no, we don't have any malware, it's a false-positive.

Looks like Google found itself a nice trojan again in their forums.

I hope this bs with google does not make you guys lose fans who dont know better.
Something popped up on the forums a while back and google used that as a means to block the site, complete crap.
As always, great show, hope you guys keep on truckin', because I will listen in every week anyway.

It probably will, that's the problem with Google. They basically have a strong say over who goes to your site and who doesn't. Their 'attack site' messages are built into Firefox and Chrome, they don't bother to check with the site owners before labeling them as attack sites and in our case, even said on the report (which you have to click on in order to read) that there is no malware on the site. Thankfully we also have a large contingent of iTunes and RSS listeners who probably won't even notice.

What is point of having your main Paladin writer on and not talking about related to Paladins?
You specifically said you will be talking about mage next week with your mage class writer.

"What is point of having your main Paladin writer on and not talking about *anything* related to Paladins?"
Sorry missed a word.
But my point is, paladins are going through a very extensive change and you don't spend anytime on it?
Why bother having him on at all?

"We talked about PvE to PvP transfers and why they might be a problem, but probably won't be."
They killed Mal'Ganis. 30-minute queues and 3000ms latency during prime time hours, every single night since PvE transfers were accepted. I can't even play the game I'm paying a monthly fee for, so I'm canceling and going to Warhammer.

My server (Mannoroth) hasn't been hit at all. The PVE transfers have been great. I brought my old, dusty lvl 70's over to help out our guild (THE Guild) and it has been great.
Sorry to hear your server and lag sucks that bad. Have fun with Warhammer, and we'll see you in a few months...

On the Shadow Priest healing topic,
I think the team missed the point on why she was healing. If the raiding team is short on healers and that member is asked to respec and heal, then whats the problem with that? ok so its not the persons first choice of spec, but in some situations its either respec or the 25man is cancelled leaving 24 other people anoyed. As an officer in a raiding guild your advice on "find another guild that lets you play the way you want" is kinda lame.
On the loot issue, as they are rolling in 25mans, she could talk to the raid leaders (s) and pick a 'main spec' to roll on. For instance if she is Shadow on 2/3 raids but asked to respec Holy for the occasional one, she could roll on the dps loot with the other casters. If a piece of healing gear is going spare or other 'main spec' healers don't need it, great, take it.
