World of Papercrafting returns with life size Illidan statue

In the full version of the picture, you can see just how tall this thing is standing alongside a chair and a dresser. It's not quite as tall as Illidan would actually be, but that doesn't change the fact that it's huge for a paper sculpture. Also, a truly life-sized Illidan would have a hard time fitting inside of your bedroom, I think. The wings aren't attached to this sculpture yet either, which will be a whole new level of awesome. Unfortunately, Syih says the wings are coming out a little too heavy for just paper to support. There's been some bending and tearing issues.
Syih has a few others as well: Thrall, Kael'thas, a tiny Dwarven Rifleman. They're all smaller than the Illidan statue, but all quite awesome. You can either check out Syih's thread on the EU forums, or take a look at our World of Papercraft gallery, which contains both Syih's work and that of previous Papercrafters.

I think this is proof that Blizzard needs to hurry up and release the new content. When a WoW player has that much free time on their hands, we have problems. Mad props though.

Impressive paper work, but DAMN someone needs to learn to take better pictures.

If I woke up with that thing in my room next to me I would probably freak out. Hard.

Life size is 4' tall? I always thought Illidan was taller than that. I guess he's like Tom Cruise that way.

Definitely the best use of "he's like Tom Cruise that way" I've ever seem in a forum!
