- Leading the Cavalry - Obtain 75 mounts, be rewarded with an Albino Drake.
- For the Alliance! - Slay the leaders of the Horde, be rewarded with a Black War Bear.
- For the Horde! - Slay the leaders of the Alliance, be rewarded with a Black War Bear.
- Glory of the Hero - Complete all of the Heroic Dungeon achievements, be rewarded with a Red Proto-Drake.
- Glory of the Raider - Complete the Normal Difficulty raid achievements, be rewarded with a Plagued Proto-Drake.
- Heroic: Glory of the Raider - Complete the Heroic Difficulty raid achievements, be rewarded wtih a Black Proto-Drake.
- What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been - Complete the World Event achievements, be rewarded with a Violet Proto-Drake. (Note: World events means holidays here, like Brewfest, not things like the Ahn'qiraj gate event.)

Considering that if you buy more than one of the same type of mount, it won't let you put it on your spellbook, and since the achievement would have to be by whats in your spellbook, i'm going to say that they have to be different.

It's 75 mounts in your spell book. Once you learn how to summon a mount, you can't re-learn it.

If it bothers you so much that this site reports news that MMO-Champion broke, then just stay on MMO. The source is clearly cited at the end of the article. What more do you want? Do you expect them to NOT write articles about the new stuff in the game just because they didn't discover it themselves?
Grow up, man, it's journalism, not scientific research. They gave credit to the people that reported it first, that's all you can possibly ask. Go troll somewhere else.

It wasn't just this morning. It seems that lately people have been jumping into every post to make sure everyone knows that MMO broke the news first on whatever it is.
Well, duh. This site has articles by bloggers. MMO has glorified forum posts by dataminers. Of course they're going to be up first. They're not proofread, spell-checked or in any otherwise readable form. They're just lists of changes with no opinion or analysis. The two sites are completely different.

Very nice, I figure that excluding PVP (BG & Arena) mounts, there's about 60 mounts easily available in BC, add in BG mounts, the Zhevra, and rare mounts, and you probably could get 70 pre Wrath. 75 shouldn't be too tough if you just go and grind some rep. Can't wait...

Cool, how many mounts are available currently in-game? 75 seems like a ton. Maybe not though...there's 5 or so PvP mounts, 6 or 7 Netherdrakes, then you could also get your other faction's mounts, drops....then regular land, epic land, regular flying, epic flying...I guess they do sell 5 or so of those. It would be cool to see how that would break down. Expensive to buy em all too maybe.

I wonder if it counts different colors of mounts - so the red/blue/unpainted mechanostriders, for example counting as 3 instead of 1?

so are they removing the riding restrictions for taurens now?
because this achievment is pointless if i have to buy mounts i can't even ride in order to hit 75.

Anyone know if Tauren can even use the mounts that they can't ride in Wrath?
I hope they get rid of the restrictions, though. I wanna ride around on a chicken and Kael isn't dropping his.
