Indeed, as mentioned, motorized ground vehicles are present. Both as tanks, and "walkers" or whatever you want to call them: mechanostriders, Harvest Golems, and the like. Unlike the stone golems, the Harvest Golems are in fact mechanical in nature. The reason why motorized vehicles aren't that widespread, however, is that small engines are considered far too dangerous by most people, due to their tendency to... explode. The large steam boilers that drive the tanks and the tram are obvious exceptions. Size does equal durability, after all, though you do trade efficiency for it.And if you want to use that as an excuse for people not using bikes, remember this: you're over level 70. People of equal skill have taken down the most fearsome threats to the survival of all living species. You are far removed from the experiences of the humble farmer. What do YOU have to fear from a small, potentially highly explosive device nestled firmly in your nethers? It's nowhere near as bad as being beaten by the hammer of Ragnaros, and THAT most people shrug off these days!
