I think blizzard should start adding Flying space ships, AK47’s, hand grenades And then throw in the flying speeders from “Star Wars” some Light sabers, maybe add the "Bat mobile". Toss in some smurfs ….oh …oh and Iron Man... We’ve got to have Iron Man Then they could really fuc* the game up for all the hard core dungeon players

Yeah, because there are no space-ships in the WoW lore. Oh wait...

Also no guns, no grenades, no lightsabers... oh wait, all these things are already in the game.Yep, it sure has f*cked up the game for hardcore raiders... oh wait.

TotalBiscuit: Actually, no, there are not. Just because the "lollore" people want to describe something as a spaceship so they can get their bittersweet jollies doesn't mean that's what it is.

Do tell what Exodar is then? Ah yes, it is the satelite module of Tempest Keep. Say what you want, but it is a spaceship. Because, you know, it travels trough space. Also, goblins have a rocket in Area 52. Try to tell me that it is not a spaceship too.You people have put up with the Burning Crusade, all the space crap it had and now suddenly MOTORCYCLES ruin the game? Jesus Christ...

"Say what you want, but it is a spaceship."Obviously you won't let the facts get in the way of what you WANT to believe, but in case anyone else is less foolishly stubborn, the Exodar does not "travel through space." It is a trans-dimensional vessel. It has far more in common with portals, teleportation, and the flying city of Dalaran than with rockets and the space shuttle.

A sattelite module that has a cryo core, warp piston and other various perhaps magical, but still hi-tech details... to me it sounds far more outlandish (oh look, a pun) than simple motorbikes.

"Sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."The argument is moot, you are both correct. Move on, please.
9-22-2008 @ 9:01PM
The Argument is that. I don’t want to see the game going in the direction that it’s headed in. Warcraft seems to be getting more modern as the game keeps evolving. I’m not against change; however I’d like to see it stay dark and mysterious. You know “back to the basics”. Fighting off dragons, sneaking into tombs and exploring zones on my trusty steed seems more mythical than jumping on my “Hogg”, gunning doing the road with my shotgun. “Yeee- hawww”

You mean your level 11 shotgun, which you picked up in the Dwarven zone near the STEAMTANKS, where a gnome with MECHANOSTRIDERS was showing off his wares? You'll get plenty of dark and mysterious, just don't make the mistake of thinking that a single mount is going to make the game swerve suddenly towards high technology when it is no more advanced than existing technology. Your dark and mysterious will be represented by undead vikings, death knights, rogue dragons, the Lich King himself, and all kinds of other badassness, including a city that is magically floating in the air. If anything, the game is headed towards MORE high fantasy, rather than LESS.
