October 4th the Brewfest ends. So, if I buy all the items on the 4th, they'll last until the 6th... CURSES! If the patch isn't before the 7th (3.0.2) then there's absolutely no chance of getting the food and drink achievements before Brewfest 09.

There's at least one Mage out there who is really hoping they slip achievements in before the brewfest ends. He paid a group 4000g to get him the Kodo. The catch being that he was only lvl 65.
