I strongly support the "they're just an easter egg and have no actual hold on warcraft" theory because of how stupid Pandarens are in the first place.

Plus, the only reason moron fanboys want them in the game is because of a side story in Warcraft 3. Hell, you could play the whole thing without ever meeting the one Pandaren in there. They're largely a joke, much like the intelligence of most WoW players.

It is a more light-hearted part of the lore. If you are going to pull the whole "logical" view here, try to overlook everything but what irks you. There is so much in WC that is illogical, so claiming that is just silly.

Personally, I think Pandarens are fucking sweet, especially after playing them in DotA and Enfo's TS.

Yes, a vast majority of WoW players are morons. If you spent three minutes in PTR, you'd be very insulting about the whole player base too. You got your glyph idiots, you got your begging to know how to get to Northrend idiots, you got idiots asking for the quest to unlock Death Knights, you got idiots asking for the cost of mounts in this year's Brewfest, you got idiots who are whining about the paladin changes.
