Engineer rogue here,I wish that the motorcycle was semi-exclusive to engineering, in that Engineers can just make it and use it, but non-engineers have to cast a spell that consumes 5k gold to learn the spell to use it. And the Engineer version looks cooler.

The bike is an engineering recipe BoE that don't need engineering to use.Still want it engineering exclusive?

Dude.... its BoE think how much money you could charge people just to make or sell those. For Engineers who couldn't share much of anything at all it's a godsend. Dont' sneeze on this gift.

The Motorcycle won't make us any money. Everyone will collect the mats and beg us to make it, offering a "good tip" which will amount to a few measly gold. First, Engineering costs a lot to level, but these tips will never come close to making up that cost.Second The Motorcycle is not consumable, therefore you only need to buy one per character. There will not be a lasting market for them. Now I know that it's perceived that Engineers complain that the profession is a money-sink, and some might say that. However, we Engineers also have a distinct advantage in that most of our gadgets and gizmos are exclusive. So the money we spend enhances our characters and makes us unique. The fact that the Motorcycle will be BoE and anyone can use it undermines the very thing that makes the Engineering money-sink worthwhile. Personally, I doubt I'll be making these for anyone but my friends. I didn't roll Engineering to make money... I did it because I want to be an Engineer!
