Yes, you're missing an important part of the calculation:

"Converts up to 10 rage per second into health for 10 sec. Each point of rage is converted into 0.3% of max health."

So, what you've been calculating is the amount healed per point of rage per second. Keep in mind the ability will be converting ten rage points per second.
