Read it through it might sound confusing but the outcome is that,
if things stay as they are in the last build(s)

Not only elemental will start raiding struggling to outdps a protection warrior, it will also have no scaling buff talents as a moonking will have and no scaling at all on spell coefficients in return for a higher base damage,

That means that if a moonkin+demonology warlock will bring more than an elemental will be able to offer later on raid-wide, having no scaling at all we will fall behind in dps even further while gear gets better;

Thus, either my spec will become restoes 4fun offspec (spellpower) or it will simply prove useless for anything but leveling and maybe pvp

While i'm not in beta myself, the above is what other shamans i know testing there said and that's coherent with what you'll find in feedback forums.

I'm not sure if I've been clear, my mood is pretty altered right now and I can't really type perfect english.

I'm just wating and hoping, meanwhile I'm gathering resto gear for 3.0 ...
