You assume that a 51 pointer has to be viable for both PVE and PVP and not one or the other. Although the best are, certainly not all are. If you don't like it for PVE don't take it, but don't begin to tell me that its not viable in pvp. Because stuns are the most OP thing in pvp (I know, i play a rogue.) Seriously though, look at Shadowfury in warlocks destruction tree (as it is live) and tell me that its worth taking for pve, noting that you won't be able to pick up sacrifice if you do. /Golfclap at blizzard for that 2 year long bullshit end tier spell. If you even went th at far into destruction you were to squishy to pvp and its absolutely horrid in pve. Thankfully it has been changed in wrath. Maybe someday deep freeze will work better for you, until then stop whining and look at all the other garbage end tier spells currently and in wrath. It isn't really all that bad. Although I do agree that the CD is a too long, and it should be shortened. More so though, i don't believe that such conjecture over a spell in beta is becoming of you or this website. You've judged this spell very harshly as it is incomplete. I hope you get what you are looking for out of this spell, I really do. But there is little evidence that blizzard doesn't plan on a change for this if any at all. Your column was an informative look into the mind of the class, and an entertaining read. Unfortunately your good humor and valid comparisons came off a bit more like crying than a truthfully valuable critique.
