BlizzCon 2008 swag bag

Fresh from the check-in lines at BlizzCon is our gallery of the all the contents of the goodies bag Blizzard gave us. Some real great things in there: special goo, a free authenticator, the special mount card, a beer bottle cooler, and either an inflatable frostmourne or inflatable bubble hearth beach ball.
Right now WoW Insider staff is outside the convention area, and we're watching the line to pickup tickets wrap around the building, then inside the building, and then take a couple hundred twists and turns. There is a ton of people here. Looks like everyone wants to pickup their tickets early.

Same, I was so close to (being able to afford the ticket/hotel/travel). Really wishing I was in Anaheim right now... Oh well I probably wouldn't have gotten a ticket anyway, judging by how fast they sold out :(

i dunno, its nice that you get something for the ticket price but it just seems like alot of stuff that will just end up in the back of the closet or bottom of a dresser drawer.
but really im not the type of person that really collects things. especially trivets, toys and glossy paper stuff. im not trying to be sour honestly :) i just dont put a high value on alot of material things is all :)

Not to nitpick, but the mask looks more undead than orc.

There are at least two different masks ;). I got an orc in one bag and an undead in the other.

There are two versions, Orc and Undead. Maybe more, but that's all we've seen so far.

Just got back from getting my pass and bag. The figure prints pendant I got was horde side and sadly was broken. The tag inside says I can swap it for my faction of choice (everything in my bag was horde side orientated (mouse pad/pendant) so I am hoping I can exchange it for one that is not broken.
Just sad the impression given over a chipped pendant shortly after the quality of the figure prints themselves have come under scrutiny.
Me. I am happy with the character goods. Collectibles are my thing. I don't really think of them as free as I consider the cost of admission including them. Still very nice deal for items that have a niche market.
The authenticator was a really nice addition!

Just to confirm, you can burst the Diablo III stress ball if you twist it and yes it does deposit stinky gunk all over your hotel bed....
