Hmm, I was really exited about WotLK, but I am a PvE mage, and after the respec-in-raid info, I'll probably cancel my CE pre-order, and instead quit the game. (Unless I read about them taking this back.) Why would anyone take a DPS only class for a raiding group, ever? I certainly wouldn't. Even if a DPS only class had slightly more damage, the group composition fine tuning for each boss will more than make up for it. Just make it all pally/druid/priest, and you have all the tanking, healing, melee dps and ranged dps that you'll ever need. Need one tank and a ton of healing and ranged DPS, no problem. Need 3 off-tanks next fight, no problem, either.I am thinking that this is why they will only implement it in a patch after the expansion hits, so that people will still buy it before stopping to play. And no, it took me well over a year to get my mage to 70, I will not level something new to 80. Seeing that I don't enjoy PvP, and thus Conan and WAR are not really alternatives for me, I guess if this hits it is the end of online rpging for me. At least I have not played the Witcher, yet, and the enhanced edition just came out, and there's Fallout 3 as well.
