BlizzCon 2008: Costume Contest

This year's costume contest entrants ranged from the exceptional (hello Thrall!) to the ridiculous (goodbye Rick Astley), but in the end the winner was clear. A female Dranei on a motorized turtle mount stole the show. More than that, she won a replica Frostmourne. Someone there had a *really* cute Talbuk costume. The costumes this year have been really amazing so far. Can't wait to see more of em.

awesome turtle!! and nice armor. Tough i liked the eredar twins and that girl in Absolution with the golden staff of the sindorei. Malefic raiment, Lil'Sally and BE Judgement already too much done.

Shammy-Speedy deserved to win hands down, I wouldn't complain about that but I thought that the Eredar twins and the Undead chick should have made top five. That Undead chick was frighteningly awesome!

The Undead chick definitely should have been in the top 5. She not only had an amazing costume but moved like an Undead without making it look unnatural.

I bet that turtle was created by papier maching all the useless trading cards accrued while trying to find the Turtle Loot Card.

Wow. Lots of effort put into those! I personally think Thrall deserved to win but that turtle was just amazing. I wish I had the kind of skill and time and enthusiasm to put into making that thing.

Yeah, I really wish the Undead Girl was in the finals. Her costume wasn't the most elaborate, but she did a freaking great job being in character. She was so believable.
