To really be honest, with the WOTLK coming four weeks after this Blizzcon, I didn't expect anything earth shattering for WoW in the terms of new expansions. I think if they did release a new expansion on top of the one we haven't even played yet, WOTLK would lose a sense of worth to a lot of people. Blizzard has always been good on letting people know at the right moment, when their existing game/expansion has been out for a year or so and boredom starts to kick in. I AM happy that our ground mounts swim though!! LOL.

I was surprised they didn't announce an SC2 beta date though. After all they announced SC2 and Wrath at the same time last Blizzcon and we're a month from live Wrath. I don't play SC at all, but I feel for those who do. WE joke about the 'soon' and 'when it's ready' stuff, but you've got to wonder if you're an SC player whether you'll see anything before 2010.
And really - the whole 'when it's ready' thing was dead silly. At the last Blizzcon and shortly thereafter people were talking about release dates on boards and the overwhelming consensus was "Wrath will hit Q4 08. Maybe slip into January." And guess what....
