Any guild that pushes 5+ raid nights for progression is absolutely insane. 3 nights is more than enough for progression. It makes each raid night that much more important for all raiders to try that much harder. It brings a lot of good players to a guild that just can't spend half their life raiding. Some of our best players are the ones that we only see on progression raid nights. Our guild decided to take a break from raiding BT/SWP a month ago, and it was the best thing we could have done for our guild. The fear was that we would lose some of our top players. But, we never did. We still did fun stuff like pvp and arenas and silly things like kara/gruuls/mags/za bear runs.Every guild is going through the same transition. I believe our top raiders realized this, and thats why none of them have left, because the grass really isn't greener on the other side of the fence, at least for now - not till wrath. My advice, push raiding back to only 3 days. Enjoy the patch - our guild is picking raiding back up too to mess with the new game mechanics. And - have fun. Otherwise its not worth it.
