We were just talking about this in GC last night. One of my guild members is up to the part where he has to find Windsor. A few people were talking about trying to get him at least through talking to Lady Prestor before tomorrow. I'll have to see how they did.
Having walked what seemed like 80 people through that quest chain, part of me is not sad not to have to rescue Windsor yet again. But so much lore is being lost with Prestor gone. I keep thinking she could be moved to another location in Stormwind, a vacant building in the dwarven district, perhaps, where you still had a confrontation with her. Or have her walk through SW when you talked to someone. It's always a highlight to have people in the throne room who know nothing of the story and there are suddenly dragons.
But, this is how a game evolves. Maybe Blizzard could make a contest where you figure out how to fit the lore back into the game. I wasn't around when the horde guy in the graveyard at Southshore ran amok when horde people talked to him. I hear that was an awesome event which was nerfed.
