Patch 3.0.2 finally confirmed to arrive today

Slorkuz, a blue poster on the EU forums, finally confirmed outright that the realms are down to apply patch 3.0.2. I always find it odd that Blizzard waits until the last possible second to confirm any sort of release date – no matter how many hints and "read between the lines" announcements they make.And as usual, the announcement is coming off the EU official forums. I'd bet some money that we'll see the patch notes up in EU before the US.

Most likely they were waiting just to be sure everything was in order and ready. I'm sure they wouldn't want to say "Oh, it'll be next Tuesday!" then have something go drastically wrong and have to pull it.

Patch notes have never been updated for PTR, after the 1st build. So we missed lots of things that we'll probably never know about until someone "discovers" them. Let's see if things will change but I doubt, as it would mean writing a LOT of stuff.

look the patch notes are incomplete!! but gc says 'blah click above link blah'. so i think the devs are trying to place the most RECENT beta build talents into patch 3.0.2!!! yessss!!

I don't know about you guys but if it is being released on the 14th of Nov then we have roughly 30 days and 12hrs.
Also the patch can be downloaded now.

Please remember the different time zones. I'm located in Europe. And I like to read wowinserder.com on holiday in New Zealand too.

I never did understand the people arguing that it wasn't today because "blue hasn't confirmed it yet". You new here? Blizzard never confirms patches ahead of time, with the exception of 2.0 (I think, it was a 2.X patch), and that was because of the new honour system.

well it is WI. Its boggles the mind how unattentive and honestly just dumb and helpless people here are (like no one seems to ever look at more than just WI for ALL their wow info). bloggers and readers too. just to show how much watch as all our comments get faded out just for mentioning anything negative and not gently stroking the WI staff. lol.
