I can't wait for the patch, it will breath some new life into the game.
I'm going to get a haircut, play around with new talents/spells in raids and pvp, check out the new areans and work on some achievements :)
As a mount/pet collector the new system is going to be awesome as well.
ikilu Oct 14th 2008 4:45AM
2 PM PDT to 2 AM PDT should be flipped.
Osi Oct 14th 2008 11:41AM
No .. it is 2AM to 2PM PST.

As a PvE HUNTER I'm just a little bit worried by the (possible) new Aspect of the Viper. As it is right now on PTR it's awesomely good. Fast mana regen, even if not passive and even with 50% damage reduction. You switch AotV/AotH in and can refill the mana bar with non-stop killing.
They should have added a passive thin in the new AotV, let's wait and see...

I hearby /mourn the death of a balanced pvp system
Fletch Oct 14th 2008 5:11AM
I don't know that the PvP system was ever balanced. I'm not even sure a PvP system that employs multiple classes with many diverse skills can ever be truly balanced. All that happens is that the bias shifts from one set of classes to another.

And for every one of your type of player, there is another (or more) that will start to like it more because of the changes.
Remember you (and your friends) are not the only people who play the game. Blizzard has to keep the game enjoyable for as many people as possible.

... and hail the dawning of e new erra, in which paladins go back to being the overpowered indestructible sources of pewpew (after having been underpowered weeny sources of QQ) they always should have been.
BTW mages will QQ, they always do

Sigh, I just started the last part of the Onyxia quest, before the big fight, when PPHH, sever went down. I can't finish it anymore because..well ya know.
Me and my tank friend kept getting lost in BRD. I wish they had ingame instance maps already. >_
Dightkuz Oct 14th 2008 5:27AM
I can still play WoW. Shouldnt there be a mainteance? Or am I misunderstanding the PM/AM system?
Rugus Oct 14th 2008 5:34AM
EU player? Eu servers will be patched tomorrow (well... tonight @ 02.00).
Dightkuz Oct 14th 2008 5:36AM
Ahr...
KenMo Oct 14th 2008 5:32AM
It would be nice to be able to load up a client side UI environment so I can update my Addons and then tweak screen placement before the servers come up.
Instead, I will be standing in the middle of Org. staring into space while I adjust Bartender 4.
Oh this is the price we pay... :)

The Priest Racial Lament
By Garroa - H Velen
Silent spheres of shadow swirled about
the rooster's crow heralds their demise
Foul magic's hex to cause a healers doubt
Thy too be gone at morning sun's arise.
The righteous anger of devout and chaste
cast from our ranks upon the coming dawn.
The elven fury countless demons faced
On first light, forever will be gone.
Sin'dorei bargain, their arcane appetite
shall not be sated forward from today
Attacking Magi saw their spells ignite
Alas, poor feedback you too are held at bay.
Light and Darkness battle for our souls
we wardens of eternal strife endure.
Draenei, Elf, Human, Dwarf, Forsaken, Trolls
Our lineage be remembered ever more.
Cetha Oct 14th 2008 8:35AM

Does anyone know if the barbershop will allow us to choose tattoos and piercings (e.g. earrings)?
I hope they do, I think it will be cool to give my warrior a new nose ring :)
Radiophonic Oct 14th 2008 6:06AM
Nope
Ayrianna Oct 14th 2008 6:51AM
You will be able to choose a new hair style/color and a new accessory such a facial hair, earrings, tatoo ect. Whatever you can select on the character creation screen as the last option at the bottom. It's only replacing. You can't add on to what you have.
Evi Oct 14th 2008 11:46AM
You cannot change your face selection or skin tone. Everything else is adjustable. You can change piercings, n'elf tattoos, etc.
