Around Azeroth: The spaces in-between
The 3.0.2 madness continues! The EU realms were patched yesterday, and soon after the realms came up, Belacqua of Stormrage-EU took a trip to Undercity with two aims in mind: take a look at the new Sylvanas and do the daily battleground. The first objective went off without a hitch, but when her battleground popped while standing in Tirisfal Glades, she began falling through the world. She died, released, and found herself in this strange, gloomy, terrainless gray land. The only things marking it as Tirisfal were the flags hovering above the ground. Has the final judgement come? Did Belacqua die and end up in limbo? (I doubt it -- I think we all know where the blood elves are going.)
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards.

Yeah, the self-absorbed, egotistical, narcissistic, demonic magic addicts go straight to heaven... /rolleyes

Oh, and those stuck up, snobbish, won't ever come when you call their name* cats... they're probably going to hell, too. ;-)
*Hunter pets excluded, since they behave more like dogs. :-D

Hmmm.... Is this an extension of the 'Tree Hugger' vs 'Junkie' argument?
I think we're all going to hell (JOKE). We kill people and steal their stuff!

I used my Blessed Medal of Karabor to hearth to Black Temple. When I got there, I was standing in some gray featureless land. My fatigue and breathing bars were up. I couldn't do anything, so I died when my breathing bar ran out. I found myself in the graveyard in the Wetlands and my corpse was way out in the water. I tried getting to my corpse, but my fatique bar would appear and I would "drown" before reaching my corpse.

I've had this happen to me. I was walking to the tabard vendor in org, screen went FUBAR, then back with me, the tabard vendor and guild master all falling, I fell to my death, auto-released (which I didn't have set up...), and came back under Western Plaguelands with a spirit healer in front of me, and I tried to walk toward her, and just fell into an abyss, which would repeat about a dozen times, until I was back at the spirit healer, which I stupidly tried to walk to again.
I asked a friend where I appeared to be, and he said Orgrimmar.
Had to get a GM to summon me to UC, for some reason he couldn't summon me to Org.

I had an issue, pre-patch, similar to this.
I was running my druid through Org and accidentally hit Alt-F4 (i was doing self-buffs with alt down and then wanted to switch to travel form by hitting my keybinding F4).
doh! so i come back and i'm dead, but under the world..in EPL.
i accepted the rez, and found myself continually falling over and over and over and over..in the Hinterlands, but when chatting over general my conversation was going to Durotar.
i restarted WoW and after falling a couple more times, i was transported to the spirit guide in Durotar outside ORG. my corpse was outside Org, too, despite my having been in Pre-Idiot-Alt-F4 moment.

I've been there myself... it started when I noticed that most of the NPC's were missing in Shat and as I headed out to Terrokar to check on the mobs, I thought I'd relog to fix the problem instead. When I came back I was in light grey-blue nothing-ness. I couldn't move, although everything responded as if I was currently moving, hearthstone, scrolls of recall, the un-stuck feature. Finally a couple guildies rounded up a third person and warlock summoned me out! It was a very bright idea on my boyfriends part!

So now we know what's under Tirisfal Glades...I expect a KYL follow up!
(On another note, I used to have a joke in my guild that Stonetalon lake was the sewage tank of Azeroth because that's where I'd end up when the game went End Times on me)
