Breakfast Topic: What about the new talent specs is confusing you?
New spells! New talents! New...confusion. We posted a number of new talent guides (don't see yours? It's coming soon!) as well as the Skill Mastery series to give you the information you need to respec your toon(s) come pach day. But having logged on last night, I still had to walk many guildies through their talent choices. They weren't sure what specs work and which don't anymore. There is a certain amount of information overload going on for many players right now.Is there anything you are unsure of with your new builds? What talent information are you looking for that you haven't found yet? Is there a talent, skill or spell whose function is unclear? Leave your answer here and we'll try to clear it up for you

Between the switch to percetage of base mana for every spell, the anihilation of down-ranking and the limitations on regen (one pot per fight, etc), it's definitely hurting holy priests right now; remains to see how this will play out at lv80 since that's what Blizzard claims they balanced classes/spells on (and not our current lv70 cap).

I'm going to be honest; shaman talents are confusing the hell out of me. I was leveling a ~level 30 enhancement shaman, and before the patch pretty much all my talents were based around crit hits. Now only flurry is. I don't have any idea what I'm doing.

does http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=11222 Arcane Focus "Increases your chance to hit and reduces the mana cost of your Arcane spells by 1%." mean:
A) "Increases your chance to hit *for all spells by 1%* and reduces the mana cost of your Arcane spells by 1%.",
B) "Increases your chance to hit *for all spells by some arbitrary amount* and reduces the mana cost of your Arcane spells by 1%." or
C) "Increases your chance to hit *for Arcane spells by 1%* and reduces the mana cost of your Arcane spells by 1%."
Just a confusing tooltip-- I'm betting it's just arcane.... Having difficulty deciding b/w Deep Frost (too many talent points, crappy 51-pointer) and a hybrid build. I don't see any half way talents I want for casual PvE while I get my netherdrake.

As an arcane mage (loving it btw), I'm almost positive option C is correct:
"Increases your chance to hit *for Arcane spells by 1%* and reduces the mana cost of your Arcane spells by 1%."

I was under the impression that critical block would proc some sort off buff on me when it procs. So far, I have yet to see it proc. Sword-n-board, executioner, enrage, and my shouts have been the only thing to be on my buff bars.

I was and still am frost specced, but is Deep Freeze worth it, or should I only take it if I PVP a lot? Spending 1 point for a new ability is cool, and I can't reallly think of another good place for only one point.
I only played with my new talents for a few hours, and I didn't cast it that much, part of which is because I am not used to it. Please help.
