Ok.As soon as people hit 80 and start raiding they will cry about how "hard" the content is.This will just spoil them and make new players think its just that easy. Also, I dont know how you can teach a class at 70 how to raid at 80, considering it will be a totally different ball game then. And you dont learn from killing easy stuff, you learn when your challenged and do the hard stuff.Just watch how people will cry that lvl 80 endgame is impossible etc etc

When I was rocking threw WC I never expected raids to be that easy. Why would people think that now?

Agreed.. But all the same I'm sure most of the people saying how easy it is are those who HAVE been trying to down those bosses for a while. Brand new people who have NEVER done them before I'm sure will see that they still have be a bit more careful than a regular instance. I don't think it's ez-mode, it's ez-mode for those who have been trying to get it at normal mode for a long time.

How is it any different from the difference between raiding at 60 and raiding at 70? Oh wait, we can HAVE our level 80 talents now.Of course this is helping people learn to raid at 80. Have you ever played any sports? You practice, then you play scrimmage games, which are easy with nothing on the line. That's to get your skills down, and learn the execution. Then when game time comes, everything is is ramped up.Same principle can be applied to raiding. You have your easy practice now, people start to learn their abilities, it gets them fired up. By the time they hit 80, they will at the least have some idea what raiding is about. And if it's too difficult for people, then they'll be able to see the Northrend raids right after patch 4.0. No big deal.

You need to have a learning curve. I don't think you walked the first time you managed to stand up. However now you can run. It's all learning and practice, but you have to start somewhere. It's easier to face a new boss knowing a lot of boss mechanics from different encounters than learning those mechanincs on a tough boss, after a lot of wipes. This change is going to give new raiders the experience they need to face the (harder) challenges of the future.

Having done a little bit of raiding at 80 on the beta, I'd have to say it's really not super hard. I suspect that people will get through it without much pain.
