With the Glyph of Mage Armor and full raid buffs, I was running nearly 600 MP5 while casting and was gaining mana while I was casting AM.

My rotation was to spam AB until at about 20% mana, then rotate between AM and Barrage while watching my mana bar refill, then repeat. My DPS was just as good as it was pre-patch; I just had to fondle more keys. And I never, ever had to worry about going OOM.
