So it's unfair to make a druid use a glyph slot to change the look of it's bear/cat form but not so to make mages use a slot to change the look of polymorph(penguin)? As a player of both classes, I'm more than willing to pay a slot for a fun, unusual look. I'm very disappointed druids lost out on this glyph. It should be in- as an OPTIONAL glyph, noone is forcing druids to take up slot space for cosmesis.

Actually Polymorph Penguin uses Glyph of the Penguin:http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?item=43361

It's more that a Druid has a grand total of 8 forms total. Cat, Bear, Aquatic, Travel, Flight Form, Swift Flight Form, Moonkin and Tree of Life.Imagine if you wanted to customize the look on both Bear, Cat and Moonkin? A mage at least can choose between a more unnecessary thing such as making your CC look "more fun", but when it comes to a Druid it's been four years overdue so... But I agree it could be fun if we had glyphs so a Tauren Druid could use the Nightelf catform model as well, but I think this is much better.Anyway, Mage polymorph glyph =/= Druid forms glyph

Honestly...I think that Druids should have to have a glyph to change forms, but consolidate it. [Glyph of the Shapeshifter] - Minor glyph that allows access to customizable forms. One of the buildings in Moonglade would have a "barber-shop"-like NPC there which will allow you to change form apperance. Must have glyph to talk to him and if you remove glyph, changes go away. First change per form would be free...after that, it would cost a certain amount per form change.

My wife is a Tauren Druid and hates the catform; she's going to be unhappy when she finds out she can't change it yet. Here's a crazy thought -- how about providing a quest chain to customize forms, so the druids who want to do it can (and get some XP for their trouble) and the ones who are happy they way they are can opt out?Maybe the Tuskarr can teach a Druid how to make a walrus (or orca!) swim form, whatever passes for the Cenarion Circle or Expedition in WotLK can teach a polar bear form or lynx form, etc., etc.Heck, expand it to other classes as well! Give Hunters quest chains to turn some otherwise untamable beasts tamable. Paladins can get a quest chain for Argent Crusade to change the appearance of their warhorses. Warlocks and Death Knights can get a scary Lich King-themed mount similar to the Headless Horseman's. Maybe Mages can make their water elemental look like it's made of frost instead.
