Yeah, I have a level 40 druid so I'm a noob druid (disclaimer). My 2 bobs worth is that I think they should eliminate travel form and allow the cat form to run 30% faster.Probably the travel form is not intended to be a combat form. In any case you can get the mount at 30 anyway. There might be a pvp balance consideration for having two cat forms.Just that having two cat forms is ... untidy for me.Probably the massed druids out there love their travel form and wouldn't change it. Perhaps an optional quest so you can keep it if you want?

Travel form can be useful for when you need to bug out of a fight or get jumped, being an instant allows you to get some distance before you're out of combat and can mount up. Its also still useful for bgs (its why druids are the best flag carriers in wsg), and with the dragonhide 4 piece bonus, travel form's up to 55%. It's not something that's great for attacking though, as we can't use any cat abilities or spells- it is damned funny watching a group of druids all in travel form killing things though. As for running faster in cat, Feral Swiftness gives 30% and now works inside too. As for non feral druids, its also still dead useful. We've been asking for a non cat based travel form for a while now, or letting us have Feline Grace in travel form. Who knows, once they give us a groomer, we may get a new travel form, personally, i'm hoping for a stag form!
