They are, tho I believe that you can only have 16 keys on your keychain.

It should be noted that the Auchenai Key & the Key of Time are required for The Keymaster achievement, so there's a reason to grind to Honored with Lower City and the Keepers of Time.

It is, I count 30 keys on my keyring right now, why I have that many is because of AQ scarab keys, warmaul prison keys etc.

Yeah, there used to be a key limit, but that limit was removed some time ago. The keyring now expands infinitely (ish?) depending on how many keys you have.
