Well, thats not true. Flight form is trainable at the druid trainer at 68. This is a mangy crow-like form that is just as slow as the regular riding mount that everyone else gets at 70. To get "swift flight form", there was a quest chain after you paid your 5000g for your swift flight training, that sent you all over Kalimdor and Outlands ending with a Heroic Sethekk Halls and summoning (and defeating) an optional boss. The quest itself is pretty epic, and a great late game story-arch for druids, and I will be sad to see it go. It really made you feel like you accomplished something, and got you involved in some of the most interesting class lore out there. To see if trainable at 71, if you paid the riding skill fee I think is a bit of a joke. Since when a druid hits 68 now, he will be off to Northrend and not be able to use that skill till 77. I think it's lame, unless flight form is useable at an earlier time.
